No Posts Lately

I haven't been on here in a while but I haven't gotten any new videos worth posting. I'm going to start trying to make new videos to post and hopefully make improvements. I looked at my stats from exactly 1 year ago and I barely grabbed rim with 2 hands on 9'10 for the first time and I could barely touch rim on 10' with 2 hands. Now I can grab rim with 2 hands on 10' off 1 step on a good day. I'm very close to grabbing rim on 9'10 off my standing vertical. Í dunked 9'10 for the very first time on 6-26-12. Now I can dunk it basically every time off 1 foot and I'm getting to where I can dunk occasionally off the dribble off 1 foot. Plus I'm dunking off the lob with 1 and 2 feet occasionally as well. Last night I dunked 9'10 off 2 feet only taking about 3 steps but I did it with a girls ball. So I definitely have made improvements from a year ago. Recently the top of my knee cap has been hurting when I press on it with my hand. It doesn't hurt jumping or bending it or anything just when I press on it with my hand. Not sure what's going on with it, it feels like it's bruised or something but I haven't hit it on anything so I'm clueless. Not sure if I have anybody out there that's keeping up with my posts anymore or not since I've slacked lately. If you are though please comment because if nobody is going to read my stuff I don't know that I'll continue posting. Thanks and good luck to all

No New Videos

I've still been jumping lately but haven't been getting any good dunks down. Past 2 weeks I haven't gotten any decent dunks down off the lob. I'm still dunking off 1 foot but not getting anything off the lob. I don't know why this is the case but maybe I'll start getting some good one's down soon. I feel like I'm jumping high enough to dunk but I'm just now catching the lobs clean. I guess if I could just jump higher catching the ball and dunking wouldn't be so hard. Need to jump higher like @stevendunks does. Hopefully I just keep jumping several times a week I'll keep getting better and higher. Good luck to all the jumpers/dunkers out there.

First Dunks of May

Here are my first dunks for the month of May. I started making videos at the first of April so it's been about a month since I started. I can see and feel improvement especially in my lob off of 2 feet. I could barely get it before and now I'm getting it pretty good. Hope to keep improving all the time.

Weekly Update

Here are some of the best dunks from the past week. I got a good dunk down at 10' that can actually be called a dunk haha. I also got down 2 good dunks off the lob off 2 feet!! They were my best ones so far! Off of 1 foot it seems pretty easy to dunk as you will be able to tell in the video where I run up pretty slowly and dunk it. Sorry that the video is so long but I didn't have time to edit it and cut out the parts in between dunks.

A couple 9'10 Dunks and a 10' "dunk"

I went to the park with my Kobe 7's on and my neon Addidas socks! Looks good dunk good right? haha. I got several dunks off the lob off 1 foot down fairly easily but only got 1 on video. Also got several down off a normal approach fairly easily. I even got 2 down off the dribble jumping off 2 feet but that wasn't as easy. I got one down at 10' 1/2" but I don't know if you could call that a dunk. I snapshotted the videos and I look pretty high actually. Sorry for the video quality but I had 2 5 year olds videoing for me haha. That's all I had so don't judge.

A first!?

Alright, I went to the court Sunday evening to try some stuff and I wore my Kobe 7's which I have only used on the indoor court. I don't get to go to the gym much so I thought what the heck the shoes were $180 so mine as well get some use out of them. I felt like I was jumping higher and I give credit to the shoes. It was probably just a good jumping day but who knows. I still feel like I can get a tad bit higher if I were on a wooden floor. My approach isn't as strong because I'm afraid on the plant that I will slip and fall on the cement. I've come close to doing that before and I don't want to get hurt for sure!! I videoed running and seeing how high I could get my hand on the rim and I hit a couple inches below my wrist which is decent. I threw down a few dunks off one leg but the videos were bad, sorry. I did manage to get this dunk down if you can even call it a dunk. I was pretty pumped to say the least because I've never tried to do it or even thought I could. I just went up and did it without even thinking about it. Improvement? Possibly 1/32" maybe? Haha just kidding but I think I was getting a little higher anyways!

9'10

First off sorry that the camera is facing the sun. That was the only place I had to put it. As usual I was at the park by myself so I had to set the camera (iphone) on the light box breaker. I have dunked 9'10 of of 2 feet several times, just have never gotten it on video so I made sure to get one down on video. I had LOTS of dunk attemps off of the lob but I only included a few in the video. I managed to get one dunk off the lob off 2 feet for the first time. Not sure you can call that a dunk but it went in anyways. I also got 2 dunks down off the lob off 1 foot. I had many attempts as you can see in the video and was about ready to quit. You can even hear me in the video say "last try my foot and shin hurts". That's when I finally got it down so I tried again and got it down a little harder. Need to start getting these down more consistently now.
